A family recipe definitely worth making.
Preheat oven 325ºF. Butter and flour a bundt pan.
Cream together the butter and cream cheese. Add sugar gradually and whip at moderately speed until pale-colored. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well. Add vanilla and mix in salt together with the flour; add slowly. Mix at lowest speed only until thoroughly blended.
Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes. Cool on a rack for 10–15 minutes.
