Description

The perfect GIANT sweet treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1-½ cup White Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2-½ teaspoons Vanilla Exract
  • 2-½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ bags (12 Oz. Size) M&Ms

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Cream together the butter and sugars in a mixer. Add the eggs and vanilla, making sure to scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl. Add the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder and mix on low until everything is incorporated.

Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Put M&Ms on a plate or a wide bowl.

Scoop out a 1/4 cup size scoop of dough and roll it into a ball. Roll it around in the M&M’s and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Place 6 cookies on a sheet since they will spread due to their size.

Bake for 12-14 minutes until just slightly golden around the edges. Remove from oven and let rest on the baking sheet.

*Note* They might look a little under baked in the middle – but don’t fear!! They will continue to bake a bit once removed from the oven.

Pretty good. I love flat cookies, and the texture is great (kinda chewy, soft, crunchy on edges).

I LOVED these. They taste simmilar to a name brand in sold in most Malls if you get my drift. I made mine a bit smaller using my 1tbl scooper to make it easier. My family loved them too, Unfortuniatly so did the dumb dog and at all of them so I will have to make again very soon.

I just replaced my old M&M cookie recipe with this one. They are wonderful! I might fold the M&Ms into the batter next time, though, instead of rolling the dough in them.
