Description

Rich and Fudgy Brownies.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter
  • 4 ounces, weight Semisweet Chocolate
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 6 Tablespoons Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Prepare an 8″ baking pan with butter and flour.

Melt the butter and chocolate together in the microwave. Cool slightly. Stir in the brown sugar, sugar and vanilla. Beat in the eggs until light and fluffy. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt and stir until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake until the brownies are set in the middle, about 30 minutes.

I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed these. This has been my go-to brownie recipe for ages, and I’ve used it so, so many times. It’s great every time (also great with Andes chips melted on top, peanut butter batter swirled in, broken up for sundaes….)

Thanks for sharing!!!!

This is simply what a Brownie should be. Thank you sooo much for helping me put that look of stunned delight on my Husbands face. Great recipe.

All the previous comments raved about these brownies, but I didn’t think they were very good. They had a tangy-flavor that I didn’t care for. They were also really sticky–I should have greased the pan. I will stick to my usual brownie recipe or use boxed brownies instead of this one.

These turned out great! This is the best home-made brownie recipe that I’ve tried! Definitely took care of my chocolate craving!

I can add this one to the list of best brownies I’ve ever had! They are simple, quick, and fudgy without being gooey. No longer will I buy store bought brownies – ever!
