Heat chocolate and 2 tablespoons of milk in a small saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add remaining milk and chocolate mixture and beat until smooth. Fold in whipped topping by hand until smooth.
Spoon into crust and freeze until firm (at least 4 hours). Top with chocolate chips if desired and enjoy. Store leftovers in the freezer.
