A yummy dessert with chocolate pudding, Cool Whip and pecans. Easy to make!
Start by preparing the crust: Mix 1 stick of softened butter with 1 cup flour and 1 cup chopped pecans. Stir with a fork til it forms a crust- spread out in a 9×13 pan.
Prepare the bottom layer: Mix 1 cup Cool Whip, softened cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar. Beat until creamy. Spread over crust.
Mix 2 cups milk with the instant pudding . Stir til it thickens but not too thick. Pour in pan.
Top with rest of Cool Whip and sprinkle with additional pecans. Cool in fridge until ready to serve.

I also make this same recipe passed down from my grandma. It’s my favorite dessert but we called it Afternoon Delight. that’s why I used it as my username

I make this same recipe. I’ve substituted banana pudding and lemon too. Very interchangable. Pumpkin pudding is also a good choice when it’s available during the fall season.
