These gluten-free molasses sugar cookies have to be one of my most favorite cookies of all time—soft, chewy and slightly crunchy on the outside!

I just made these yesterday to take to a picnic today and they were fun, easy and really good!! I also used mini m&m’s instead of mini chocolate chips because I thought the added color made them cuter. Mine looked a little more flattened out and not as perfectly shaped as the ones in the picture… but they tasted good! Thanks for a great recipe.

I made these yesterday, they are fantastic. I did add an egg though, as my mixture wouldn’t stick together until I added the egg.

I made these today and they are wonderful. I couldn’t locate any mini M & M’s so I just used the mini choc. chips. I liked them that way because it adds a little dark chocolate flavor instead of too much “sweet” milk chocolate. I’ll bet an almond Kiss would be good in the middle, too! I was able to get about 38 cookies. Also, I used butter instead of margarine and had no problem with the cookie flattening out.

I’m not sure what I did wrong but my cookies are DRY!!! They are hard as a rock- as the hershey kiss hardens when cool. Any advice?
