Description

Easy Pear Apple Crisp is the ultimate fall recipe. Simple, delicious, and bursting with the flavor of fresh pears and apples! Try this for dessert tonight.

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Medium Tart Apples
  • 4 whole Pears
  • ⅔ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¾ cups Flour
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • ½ cups Butter

Preparation

Heat oven to 375ºF. Butter an 8 x 8 baking dish. Peel and thinly slice apples and pears; arrange in prepared dish.

In a large bowl, place brown sugar. Add flour, oats, and spices. Cut in butter with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Sprinkle evely over apples and pears.

Bake at 375ºF for 30 minutes or until fruit is fork-tender. Serve with ice cream or cream if desired.
