Description
This is a very easy recipe and you can change the filling to go with the season!
Ingredients
- 1 box (18.25 Oz. Box) Yellow Cake Mix
- Additional Required Ingredients Specified In Mix Package (typically Water, Eggs And Oil)
- 1 can (21 Oz. Can) Pie Filling Of Your Choice
Preparation
Mix ingredients on cake mix box (you’ll typically need water, eggs, and oil, as directed in mix package) with your choice of pie filling. I like cherry but you can use any kind of pie filling.
Bake according to box directions. Cool and serve. Easy, right?

In my neck of the woods this is called “dump cake”
you “dump” it all together and bake
My favorite combo is actually cherry pie and chocolate cake.

This sounds really good. Just one question . Do you add the pie mix in with the water/eggs & oil? Would like to make this with my Grandson.
