Rice Krispie treats with a new twist: dulce de leche and white chocolate!
1. In a large sauce pan, melt butter and marshmallows over low heat. Stir until completely melted.
2. Remove from heat. Add dulce de leche and stir until all incorporated.
3. Mix in the Rice Krispies. Add white chocolate chips and carefully blend into the Rice Krispies mixture. Some of the chocolate may melt.
4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 pan or a cookie sheet and spread it evenly with a piece of waxed paper.
5. Place in the fridge to cool.
6. When cooled, melt chocolate squares according to package directions and place in a piping bag or Ziploc bag with the tip snipped off. Drizzle the melted chocolate in diagonal pattern across the Rice Krispie treats.
7. Place the treats back in the fridge to cool.
8. Eat and enjoy!
