Made this for Thanksgiving. My family and I loved it! Delicious, and creamy. The only thing I found though, was that the cream cheese/whipped topping mixture made a lot, and I only put about half in the bottom of the pie shell to leave room for the pumpkin mixture. I used the larger crust shell too. It all turned out okay though, because we used the extra whipped topping mixture on top! Great, easy recipe.

Just made this for thanksgiving, the first one without Grandma's pumpkin pie. I didn't expect this to even come close to the real thing... but let me tell you, this pie was a HUGE HIT! Forget that it only takes 15 minutes to make - it is SO delicious and addicting. The cream cheese/whipped layer goes so well with the classic flavors of pumpkin. This is definitely going to be a new annual tradition!

I just finished making this about 30 minutes ago. The first time I tried it was at my then-boyfriend (now-husband)'s mother's house. I don't really like pumpkin pie that much and I LOVED this. I make two pies every year for Thanksgiving - my son could eat a half pie all by himself. The only difference in my recipe is I use 4 oz of cream cheese instead of 8 oz and I use half and half instead of milk in the pumpkin part. I also use the larger sized graham cracker shell because there's quite a bit of filling. Other than that, they're identical. Can't recommend this high enough - so easy and delicious! Happy Thanksgiving everyone. :)
