Description

Oreo Ice Cream Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 box Vanilla Ice Cream (half Gallon)
  • 1 bag Oreos, 16 Ounce Bag

Preparation

Set out the ice cream so that it softens.

Put half of the bag of Oreos into a plastic bag and crush them until there are no big pieces left.

Put the crushed Oreos in the bottom of an 8″x8″ dish. Pat them down to form a even layer.

Lay down a layer of ice cream, this works best if it is soft. I find it easiest to use my hands to pat it down into an even layer. This layer can be as thick or thin as you like it. I like about 3/4″ of ice cream.

Put the rest of the bag of Oreos into the plastic bag and crush these as you did the first half.

Layer the crushed Oreos on top of the ice cream until it is all covered.

Freeze for at least two hours before cutting and serving.
