Cook gnocchi according to package. While it cooks, melt butter with 1/2 teaspoon of the cinnamon in a nonstick skillet. Remove from heat as soon as it’s melted.
When gnocchi is done, put skillet back on the heat and remove the gnocchi from the pot using a slotted spoon, putting gnocchi in the skillet with the melted butter and cinnamon.
Toss gnocchi. Pour entire contents of skillet into your serving dish and toss with the sugar and the rest of the cinnamon. Serve right away.
