Description

YOW! The name says it all! These delicious and beautiful desserts are just perfect for a romantic Valentine’s night dinner (or anytime really!).

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Vegetable Oil
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 whole Egg
  • ¼ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 6 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • ⅛ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 cups Prepared Chocolate Pudding
  • 2 cups Prepared Whipped Cream

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan and line it with foil, leaving a little foil overhanging on each end for a handle. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, mix together the oil, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in 1 egg. Set aside.

Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a small bowl. Gradually stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture until well blended. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until the brownie begins to pull away from the edges of the pan. Remove the pan from the oven and let brownies cool on a wire rack before pulling the brownies out of the pan using your foil handles. Put the brownies on a cutting board and cut into bite-sized squares.

Line up four martini glasses (or parfait glasses) and put a layer of brownies in each glass/dish. Next add a layer of pudding and then top with whipped cream. Repeat all three layers and then put one little brownie square on the top as a garnish.
