This was the best trifle I have ever had. My host was kind enough to give me her recipe.
1. Make the brownie batter according to box instructions (using the required amounts of additional ingredients—typically water, eggs and oil). Pour batter into the specified size of pan and bake according to box instructions.
2. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
3. When cool, poke holes into brownies and pour Kahlua over top.
4. Mix together, milk, whipping cream and instant pudding mixes.
5. Break up brownies into cubes.
6. In a large trifle bowl or bowl, layer as follows: half of the brownie cubes, then layer half of the pudding mixture on top of the brownies, then layer half of the smashed Oreos over the top. Repeat layers again.
7. Top with Cool Whip and strawberries.
8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours to incorporate flavors.
9. Spoon out to serve
Optional: you can add chopped nuts or coconut, but it really does not need it.

Hi! This sounds great and I want to make it for Christmas day. The ingredients call for 1 box of pudding but the instructions say to mix together milk, cream and pudding mixes. How many boxes of pudding mix are needed? Just 1 or more? Thanks in advace for your response!
