Description

Easy and lightened up Dark Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cookie recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Packed Dark Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ¼ cups Water
  • ¼ cups Canola Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 whole Egg Whites
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 2-½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Combine the sugars, peanut butter, water, oil, vanilla, egg whites, and egg in a large bowl, beating with a mixer at medium speed until smooth.

3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl; stir with a whisk. Add flour mixture to peanut butter mixture, stirring just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Cool on a wire rack.

So, I’m guessing the teaspoon of chips is a typo seeing as the picture has about a t per cookie! So, what is the correct measurement- 1 cup?…

Hoh! One teaspoon of chocolate chips? (grin) But I do like that you used less fat than other recipes, as I hate greasy cookies. I will give these a bash and report back.
