Dark chocolate peanut butter cookies that come together in under an hour. You can’t ask for anything more. Except maybe a glass of milk.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Dump all cookie ingredients into a mixing bowl (except for 3 tablespoons of sugar) and stir until thoroughly combined. The dough will be a little thick, so I use a heavy wooden spoon.
Using a cookie scoop or a spoon, form dough into walnut-size or golfball size balls. Place about 2″ apart on ungreased nonstick cookie sheets (or use Silpat mats, if you have them).
Using a spatula or the palm of your hand, press gently to flatten the cookies to about 1/2″ thick, then sprinkle with the remaining 3 tablespoons granulated sugar.
Bake for 10-14 minutes, or until the cookies start to crack, as seen in the photo. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
Makes 30 cookies.

City Baked – that’s a hoot! Now I totally want to try them without flour, too!

I left a review raving about this recipe and it was completely awesome but I forgot a key ingredient, flour. So I, oddly enough, recommend making them without flour.
