Description

This is a delicious easy recipe to make on a Sunday afternoon when you are looking for something to go with your dinner. The blackberries give it just a bit of a tart bite which is perfect with the sweet Cool Whip or ice cream topping. YUM!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ¾ cups Biscuit Mix
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 can 5 Ounces Evaporated Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • 3 cups Blackberries (frozen Or Fresh)

Preparation

Combine sugar and biscuit mix in a large bowl, then stir in eggs, vanilla, evaporated milk and butter. Mix well. Fold blackberries in and pour into a sprayed (greased) crockpot.

Cover and cook on low for 5 hours. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

I think that there is a serious typo in this recipe. Shouldn’t it be 5 ounces of evaporated milk, not 15? 15 ounces of milk will make a very soupy dessert!

Looks great…. have you ever made it with blueberries? I have a bunch of frozen blueberries I need to use up and no blackberries :)
