Description

Is this a vegetable? Or a dessert? All I know is, it’s delicious. This is one of my favorite holiday go-to dishes. The perfect blend of tangy and sweet, with a crunchy streusel topping … oh yum! Thanksgiving can’t come around fast enough.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Peeled, Chopped Apples
  • 1 bag (12 Oz. Size) Fresh Cranberries
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cups Flour, Plus 2 Tablespoons, Divided
  • ½ cups Oats
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans
  • ½ cups Packed Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Butter, Melted

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. Combine apples and cranberries in a mixing bowl. Add granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of flour and toss to coat. Pour into a 2-quart dish.
3. In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Layer on top of the cranberry mixture.
4. Bake at 350ºF for 45 minutes.
