Cornflake Wreath Cookies

Description
These are very similar to Rice Krispie treats, but look like a holiday wreath. If you don’t like the cinnamon red hot candies used as trim, try red M&Ms instead. You can also make a “giant” sized wreath and let people cut off pieces for themselves.
Ingredients
- ½ cups Butter
- 3 cups Miniature Marshmallows
- ½ teaspoons Almond Extract
- ½ teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Green Food Coloring
- 4 cups Corn Flakes
- Red Hot Candies
Preparation
Melt butter over medium heat. Add marshmallows, stirring until all marshmallows are melted. Add extracts and food coloring; stir until it is a uniform green color. When mixture is smooth, gently fold in corn flakes (don’t crush them).
Form into wreath shapes on sheets of waxed paper and decorate with red cinnamon candies. Let cool.
