Description

Crunchy walnuts and chocolate make for one fun blondie!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, Melted
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 4 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1-½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ¾ cups Walnuts, Toasted
  • 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cups Toasted Coconut
  • 2-¼ cups Holiday Chocolate Chips (or Substitute 3/4 Cup Holiday M&Ms And 1 1/2 Cups Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a 9×13 inch Pyrex baking dish with parchment paper allowing two ends of the paper to hang over the ends of the dish (you’ll use the paper as a handle to remove the finished product from the dish).

In a small bowl combine the butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Set aside.

In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer add the flour, brown sugar, walnuts, baking powder, salt and coconut. Mix to combine. Add the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Add 2 cups of the holiday chocolate chips, or 1/2 cups of holiday M&M’s and 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared Pyrex dish. Chop the remaining chips or candies and sprinkle on top of the blondies.

Bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 30 minutes before removing from the pan and cutting.
