Description

The perfect combination of sweet and salty.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (12 Oz. Bag) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, Divided
  • ¼ sticks Unsalted Butter
  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ⅔ cups Macadamia Nuts, Pus 3 Tablespoons For Frosting

Preparation

Heat oven to 350F. Spray an 8-inch baking pan with non-stick spray. Place 1 cup of chocolate chips and the butter in a micowave safe bowl and nuke for about 1 minute. Whisk in the sugar, then eggs. Stir in the flour and salt until smooth. Fold in the nuts and then the vanilla. Transfer to the baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.

After they come out of the oven, sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips (I used 1/2 semi-sweet and 1/2 white chocolate because I’m crazy like that). Spread them over the brownies to form a “frosting.” Top with about 3 tablespoons of macadamia nuts and chill in the fridge to firm up the “frosting.” Cut into squares and enjoy!

Can’t wait to try these brownies. They have just what I love, chocolate, and macadamia nuts. Others in the family will love them too. Thanks for sharing.
