Description

Who doesn’t love dips? Who doesn’t love chocolate? Combine them both. It’s so easy! Get creative with your dips—pineapple, pound cake, and banana are some of our favorites.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter
  • ½ cups Cocoa Powder
  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Evaporated Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat; immediately stir in cocoa powder. Add sugar and evaporated milk. Return to low heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Serve warm with assorted dippers (fruit, marshmallows, etc.).

So so so amazing. Mine didn’t thicken up at all though, so I added about 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips and it thickened. This recipe is definately a keeper! Thanks for sharing.

Mmmm.mmm.good. I like my fondue a little thicker, so I added a 1/2 to 3/4 cup of chocolate chips, and it thickened right up. Thanks for sharing!

This was tasty and easy! I made a couple changes. First, I used about half the sugar, this gave it a bittersweet flavor that was good with the sweet fruit we used for dippers. Next, I used a mixture of whipping cream and half and half instead of evaporated milk. I cut the amount of milk by about a 1/2, too. Thanks!
