Description

Not your ordinary chocolate chip cookie. This delicious cookie has more chocolate goodness with a bit of a crunch and crackle.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 whole Large Eggs
  • 2-¼ cups All Purpose Baking Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1-½ cup Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 30 whole Miniature Krackle Or Crunch Candy Bars

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375F.

Cream together butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla. Then add eggs one at a time mixing well in between.

Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray or line your sheet with parchment paper.

With a small spoon, scoop out a tablespoon of dough onto a cookie sheet. Only scoop two rows of four (8 balls) onto your sheet. These are twice the size of ordinary cookies.

Now, unwrap 8 candy bars and press one into each of the dough balls.

Now scoop another tablespoon of dough into a ball and press it down on top of the candy bar. Press it down well, not to flatten your dough but to just cover the edges of the candy bar a little. Repeat this step until all 8 candy bars are covered with a second ball of dough.

You can do the same on another sheet pan, or just cook the first pan and then repeat the process until all of the dough and candy bars have been used. This should make around 30 cookies.

Bake for 10 minutes – no longer, or they will be too cruchy.
