Description

These delicious cookies use a secret ingredient: cream cheese! This trick makes them extra moist, smooth and very delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1-½ stick Softened Butter
  • 5 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups White Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2 cups Plus 3 Tablespoons Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 325ºF. Prep your cookie sheet by lining with parchment paper.
2. Cream together butter, cream cheese and sugars until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and blend together more.
3. Add the dry ingredients, slowly, until well mixed. I always add my flour in 1/2-cup increments or smaller.
4. Stir in chocolate chips.
5. Place a large scoop of dough on the cookie sheet and slightly flatten using a spoon. (This mixture is messy and sticky, so you probably don’t want to use your hands unless you don’t mind washing your hands 10 times.)
6. Bake 12 minutes.
