Description

Perfect. Soft cookie dough on the inside, chocolate coated outside! No worries about eggs either…

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet Morsels
  • 12 ounces, weight Chocolate Candy Coating, Melted
  • 4 ounces, weight Vanilla Candy Coating (almond Bark), Melted

Preparation

Beat cream cheese and butter together until creamy. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat in flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate morsels. Scoop (about 1-2 Tablespoon sized scoops) batter onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Freeze for about 2 hours (or overnight).

Melt each of the chocolates separately – in a double boiler, or in the microwave on 30 second bursts (make sure to stir between each 30 seconds). Using two forks, dip the dough balls into melted chocolate coating and return to parchment paper to dry. Once dry, drizzle the candy coated balls with melted vanilla bark. Refrigerate and enjoy.

Finally a “safe” cookie dough recipe just to eat. My son has never eaten cookie dough. I grew up eating the dough faster than my mom could put it on the cookie sheet. Thanks for sharing!

Flavor was amazing. I liked them best with dipped in chocolate, but my family liked the white chocolates ones too! I agree the dough was soft when making the balls, but a little patience and a freezer went a long way!

These are good but I was hoping they would be a bit more stiff. They were very very soft, I think I’ll make them again and try adding more flour.
