Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray (the kind that is used for baking and has flour in it).
Combine the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, sour cream and oil and mix well with an electric mixer until smooth. Add chocolate chips to the batter and stir well.
Pour the batter into the bundt pan, making sure the batter is even. Tap it a few times on the counter to ensure all the air bubbles have escaped.
Bake for about 50 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean).
Once cooled, turn out onto plate.
Now, at this point, you can just dust the cake with powdered sugar or you can make a glaze as follows:
Mix the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined. You want a nice, thick glaze. Pour the glaze right over the top of the cooled bundt cake. Allow the glaze to set for about an hour, then dig in!
Cook’s tips: some optional mix-ins are white chocolate chips or even walnuts. Also, try different cake mix and pudding combinations like Spice Cake mix and vanilla pudding—that one is delicious!
