Description

This fantastically easy cake can be whipped up at a minute’s notice using Bailey’s or Kahlua. Your guests will be impressed and you’ll look like a baking genius with only minimal effort!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CAKE:
  • 1 box (18.25 Oz.) Devil's Food Cake Mix (without Pudding In The Mix)
  • 1 box (4-Serving Size) Instant Chocolate Pudding
  • 4 whole Large Eggs
  • ¾ cups Bailey's Irish Creme Or Kahlua
  • ½ cups Water
  • ½ cups Vegetable Oil
  • FOR THE GLAZE:
  • 1 cup Confectioners Sugar
  • ¼ cups Bailey's Irish Creme Or Kahlua (Whichever One You Used For The Cake)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F.

Blend cake ingredients with a mixer on low for one minute. Stop and scrape down the sides of bowl. Beat for 2 to 3 minutes on medium speed. The batter will be thick and smooth.

Pour into a greased and floured bundt cake pan. Bake for 45 to 47 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool on a rack for 20 minutes. Prepare glaze and spoon over warm cake.

Make glaze by stirring together confectioner’s sugar with the liquor you used to make the cake (Bailey’s or Kahlua). Mix until smooth and spoon over cake.
