Soft and chewy peanut butter cookies!
1. Preheat oven 300ºF. Mix flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.
2. Cream dark brown sugar, sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
3. Add dry mixture to the wet mixture.
4. Drop by 1-2 tablespoonfuls on a cookie sheet. (I top the cookies with mini M&Ms, or mini chocolate chips, or raw sugar.) Keep 2″ apart at least. They spread out quite a bit.
5. Bake 18-20 minutes.
Note: I’ve made this recipe with light brown sugar as well and it still tastes very good.
