Description

Chewy and delicious M&M Oatmeal Cookies—you won’t be able to stop at just one!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Unsalted Butter, Softened
  • 1-½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1-¾ cup Old Fashion Oats
  • 2 cups M&Ms

Preparation

In a large bowl using a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, combine the softened butter and brown sugar. Mix for 2 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Add the flour, baking soda, sea salt and baking powder and slowly combine, making sure not to over-mix the batter.

Add the oats and M&M’s and use a rubber spatula to combine. Refrigerate batter for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350 F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

Using a 1-inch cookie scoop, scoop 12 cookies onto each parchment lined baking sheet. Transfer sheets into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies just slightly turn a golden brown color on the edges but are still soft and chewy in the middle. Remove pans from oven, transfer cookies to a cooling rack. Repeat process for remaining dough.

These are awesome and addictive. I use 1 C each dark & milk chocolate. SO yummy, thanks for sharing!

press down a little before baking or else they will be small lumps—I like them a little flat.
