Description

Chewy, dark cocoa brownies made irresistible with peanut butter chips!

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups Dark Cocoa Powder
  • ½ sticks Unsalted Butter, melted
  • ⅓ cups Canola Oil
  • 2 whole Eggs (large)
  • 2 whole Egg Yolks
  • ½ Tablespoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1-½ cup White Sugar
  • ¾ cups Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 8 ounces, weight Peanut Butter Chips

Preparation

Line a 9×13 inch pan with a double layer of foil allowing foil to hang over both ends of the pan. Lightly grease the foil-lined pan. Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a large bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, butter and oil. Add in eggs/egg yolks and mix until smooth. Add vanilla extract and salt then whisk in both sugars until incorporated.

After sugar is incorporated, mix in the flour until just combined. Add peanut butter/chocolate chips and gently mix. Batter will be thick.

Spread brownie batter into the prepared pan, and bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out mostly clean. Remove pan from oven and set it on a rack. Let brownies cool for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.
