Description

Cupcakes to honor my sister on her birthday. These are delicious and so easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (about 18 Oz. Box) Brownie Mix, Prepared (You'll Typically Need Water, Eggs, And Oil, As Directed In The Mix Package)
  • 1 box (18.25 Oz. Box) Cherry Chip Cake Mix
  • 1-¼ cup Water
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • ⅓ cups Butter, Melted
  • 1 tub (16 Oz. Tub) Butter Cream Frosting
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons Almond Extract
  • ½ cups Powdered Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Sprinkles (optional)

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line your cupcake tin.
2. Place a 1 inch x 1 inch brownie into each cupcake liner.
3. In a large bowl combine cherry chip cake mix, water, eggs and butter.
4. Pour about 1/3 cup of batter over each brownie. Once all cups are full, gently shake to make sure the batter gets all around the brownie.
5. Cook for 17-19 minutes or until done.
6. Remove and let cool.
7. Once completely, cool frost. In a medium bowl, scoop out the butter cream frosting and add the vanilla, almond extract and powdered sugar. Mix until completely combined. Add desired sprinkles if desired.
8. Pipe onto cupcakes and devour.

This sounds very good, I just did this to a brownie recipe last week. I love anything with almond extract too! I will have to try these next birthday to roll around.
