Description

A jar of heaven! Coconut, carrot cake, and cream cheese frosting layered in glass jar. The perfect gift for anyone.

Ingredients

  • Your Favorite Carrot Cake Baked Into Cupcakes
  • Shredded Coconut
  • Cream Cheese Frosting

Preparation

Bake your favorite carrot cake recipe into cupcakes.
Layer coconut, cupcake and frosting in clean, dry jars.
Garnish with ground pecans or toasted coconut, if desired.
Add a seasonal sticker or label to the top of the jar, if desired.

Note: other flavors may be used. For Christmas, I used Craisins, white chocolate cranberry cupcake, white chocolate frosting. The possibilities are endless!

How far do you fill the jar? I would like to do this for a party favor but I would like to leave enough room to pipe the frosting and still close the lid.

Thanks, it looks alot better than I was able to capture with my limited photo expertise!
I would have included my favorite carrot cake recipe (with a buttermilk glaze) but it has already been posted 3 times.
A very moist cake works best.
I plan to use a red velvet cake for Valentines Day.
I found the jars at The Container Store.
