Description

Yummy caramel sits atop pineapple finished off with a dollop of whipped topping. Sweetly refreshing!

Ingredients

  • 1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (14oz)
  • 1 can Pineapple Rings (15oz)
  • Whipped Topping

Preparation

Take labels off of the sweetened condensed milk can. Put can into a deep kettle and cover with water (at least 1 inch over top of can.) Bring water to a rolling boil and boil for 3 hours. If water level gets low during cooking, add more boiling water to it. Take can out of kettle and cool. Store in refrigerator until ready to use. Caution: Keep cans covered with water the whole time while boiling or cans will explode!!!

Drain pineapple and arrange on a serving tray. Open both ends of sweetened condensed milk can, only removing one end. Leave the second end on to help you push the set milk through. Slowly start pushing on the end you left intact. Push through 1/4 inches of set milk and slice with a sharp knife. Put on top of pineapple ring and repeat until you have 10 slices. (This part can be very frustrating the first few times. It can be a sticky mess, but it’s so good! If nothing else you can always eat the caramel out of the can.)

Add a dab of whipped topping and serve.
