Description

Unbelievable!!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 Oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar, Divided Use
  • 1 cup Yellow Cake Mix
  • ½ teaspoons French Vanilla Flavor/extract
  • 3 Tablespoons Desired Sprinkles (optional)
  • 3 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Shortening (i.e. Crisco)

Preparation

1. In a large bowl, mix condensed milk and 1 cup of powdered sugar until fully combine.
2. Add cake mix and vanilla. Mix well.
3. Add remaining powdered sugar until dough is pretty firm (like play dough).
4. Mix in sprinkles.
5. Form dough into cubes (or balls) and place on parchment lined cookie sheet.
6. Pop in freezer for 20 minutes.
7. For the chocolate coating, in a microwave safe bowl add chocolate chips and microwave in 30-second increments, making sure to stir after each. Takes about 2 minutes total.
8. Stir shortening into the melted chocolate and mix until smooth.
9. Remove cake batter cubes (or balls) from freezer and dip into chocolate. Pop back into freezer of fridge to set.
10. Store in fridge.

I really liked these. I did have a problem getting the batter as stiff as playdough. I added powder sugar and cake mix to make thicker. Next time I am going to chill the dough to give it more form. These were delicious and I will be making them again :)

These are amazing. I have tried them with 3 different cake flavors and all of them are awesome. My husband request these on a regular basis.

Oh my..these are literally to die for. Made them last night and they are so good! I ended up having to mix in another half cup or so of cake mix because it was way too sticky to form balls/cubes, but that could be due to the obscene humidity here in FL. Will absolutely without a doubt be making these again!
