Gooey-sticky toffee-like Butterscotch Sauce. Perfect drizzled over your favorite dessert or ice cream.
Cook corn syrup, butter and sugar over medium-low heat in a medium-sized heavy saucepan. Stir to dissolve sugar.
Increase heat to medium-high and without stirring, boil until mixture is as thick as corn syrup, about 3 minutes.
Let cool slightly, then add the cream.
Stir with a spoon until sauce thickens and cream is mixed in fully.
Serve warm or cold.
