Description

The crunch of a Butterfinger candy bar, the softness of a cookie, and chocolate to satisfy that craving you have. Also, the dough for this recipe is a good base for any type of cookie you want to throw something extra into.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1-½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2  Large Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2-¾ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 4 ounces, weight Butterfinger Candy Bars, Chopped

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Put the butter into the bowl of your stand mixer. Beat butter until creamy. Add the brown sugar and white sugar and beat for 5 minutes on high speed until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating for another minute after each addition. Add the vanilla and mix well. Set aside.

In a medium sized bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture in two or three additions, mixing on low speed just until the flour is incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped Butterfingers.

Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop balls of dough onto the baking sheets, leaving a few inches of room between them. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

These were great! I added 5 oz of Butterfinger dessert topping since that’s what I had on hand and they turned out amazing. Crispy on the edges but soft and chewy in the middle!
I took them to a family event and they were devoured very quickly!
