Since I love Hawaiian bread so much we decided to make bread pudding out of it, and since it is “Hawaiian” we decided to add some pineapple. And what goes better with pineapple than coconut?

People will seriously swoon when you show up with these cake balls. Swoon, I tell you. Red velvet cake and cheesecake and chocolate? They’re also, despite looking really fancy, surprisingly straightforward to make. That being said, cake balls and pops are always fiddly the first time you make them and they require a little trial and error, but the great thing about them is that they always taste amazing.

I should warn everyone, this pie is a little messy if you cut it while it is still warm from the oven. It doesn’t change the taste at all – trust me. Here’s a good recommendation: let the pie cool completely. It will be easier to cut that way. Then put it in the microwave for a few seconds to heat up a little (if you like it warm).

This is a yummy pie. I just had a piece for breakfast! I used tart apples which made the contrast perfect. I can’t wait to make it again for Thanksgiving.

Absolutely delicious! My whole family was begging for seconds. They can’t wait for me to make another one.

This pie was so delicious! It was very messy when you cut it, so next time I make it, I’ll probably make it as more of a cobbler or crumble. I also had some extra filling and topping, so I made a mini dessert in a ramekin and baked it. It turned out great, too! Thanks for the recipe!
