Description

Bits of brownie mixed with pudding, sweetened condensed milk, and whipped topping with a little candy bar thrown in? Yummy!

Ingredients

  • 1 box (19.8 Oz. Size) Brownie Mix
  • Additional Required Ingredients Specified In Mix Package (typically Water, Eggs And Oil)
  • 1 box (3.9 Oz. Size) Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • ½ cups Water
  • 20 ounces, weight Frozen Whipped Topping, Divided
  • 3 bars (1.5 Oz. Size) English Toffee Candy Bars, Crushed

Preparation

1. Prepare brownies according to package directions (you’ll typically need water, eggs, and oil, as directed in mix package). Let cool completely and cut into 1-inch squares.
2. Mix together chocolate pudding mix, sweetened condensed milk, water, and 8 ounces of the frozen whipped topping. Stir together until streaks disappear. Set aside.
3. In a food processor, crush candy bars into small, bite size pieces. Set aside.
4. In a trifle bowl, use half of the brownies to cover the bottom of the bowl. Follow with half of the pudding mixture, then half of the remaining whipped topping, and half of the toffee bars. Repeat with another layer of each.
5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours before serving.

OMG – I just had to read this recipe out loud to my husband. He is a huge chocolate lover, especially brownies. I’m think I’m going to make this this weekend!
