Very tasty! One of my favorite cookies! Recipe taken from Good Housekeeping.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Mix dry ingredients together and set aside.
Cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat after adding each egg. Add vanilla. Beat till creamy. Add dry ingredients and mix. By hand, stir in chopped pecans.
On prepared cookie sheet (I use a silicone sheet so I don’t prepare my cookie sheets with any sort of shortening or spray), drop cookie dough by teaspoon about 2″ apart. Bake for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and put a pecan half on each cookie. Return to oven for 6 more minutes till golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet to cool.
Can be stored in an airtight container if there are any left to store!
