SO good! I was hoping for a little more fudginess and a little less cake, but they are so tasty. I was worried the blueberry flavor would be too powerful, since I’m not super crazy about blueberries and chocolate normally, but you were right; the flavor is subtle and yummy.

The best cake-like brownies I have ever had. I will definitely make them again! I did make some alterations, which gave them an awesome dark chocolate flavor (not too sweet). Next time I will add an extra egg and/or subtract 5 minutes from the baking time to try to increase fudge-y-ness.
My Alterations:
–I used 1/2 cup less sugar.
–I used baking chocolate instead of cocoa powder according to substitution directions I found (3/4 cup of cocoa powder = 4 squares baking chocolate and MINUS 4 tablespoons of butter from the total amount of butter)

I baked these this morning. They had delicious flavour! I always cut the sugar in recipes, so I also reduced the amount to 1 cup. I only baked mine for 25 min and still found them a tad on the dry side, so next time I will start checking for doneness at 20 min. I will also add some chocolate chips, and perhaps a cream cheese frosting for extra decadence.

Very tasty!!! I used splenda brown sugar and it worked great! Loved the subtle blueberry flavor. Great consistency. I cooked mine for the directed time but I used an 8X8 pan. Thanks for the great recipe. Will make again!

These were really yummy! I added chocolate chips sprinkled on top, and served with vanilla ice cream and a hot blueberry compote served over all. It got great reviews from my family – thanks for the recipe!

They were good, mine were fudgy but I baked them for about 5 minutes less, you never know what you oven may be like. I also used less sugar as i normally do. I wish you could taste the blueberries more, if I tried this another time I might boil some time and add some extra in after.

A good cake like brownie – you cannot tell the flour is whole wheat and the blueberries are very subtle. I would add icing or a topping to them. They are not overly sweet as written so I wouldn’t reduce the sugar, but I may use dutch process cocoa next time to enhance the chocolate flavor.

These look so fudgy and delicious, which is rare when there is whole wheat flour involved! I actually have blueberries sitting in my fridge that would love to be slipped into this brownie batter!

Just mixed these up with the kiddos. Can’t wait to try them. Only had about 1/3 c. of cocoa so I grated an ounce of baking chocolate and added instead. We’ll see how they turn out, but the batter was delicious!

This sounds unusual; must give this a try. The only thing I lack is blueberries, so I’m going to add it to my list…

These were super! Even my picky non fruit eating 8 year old loved them! Thanks so much for sharing such a great twist to an already yummy treat!
