Description

A yummy chocolate and peanut butter brownie.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BLACK BATTER:
  • ½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Scant, Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ cups Cocoa Powder
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ cups Butter, Melted
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

  • FOR THE TAN BATTER:
  • ½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Scant, Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • ⅓ cups Creamy Peanut Butter, Warmed
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

For the black batter, mix dry ingredients in medium bowl. Whisk to combine. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, then add the wet ingredients into the well. Stir just to combine. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 inch baking dish.

For the tan batter, mix dry ingredients in medium bowl. Whisk to combine. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients into the well. Stir just to combine. The dough will be thick. Press the dough onto the top of the brownie base. Swirl with a butter knife to help the 2 batters meld. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes. Cool and eat.
