Description

With the holidays fast approaching, I wanted to share one of the tastiest little treats that I’ve created to share with the rest of my family and friends during this festive season.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Ripe Bananas, Mashed
  • 1-½ cup Animal Crackers, Ground
  • ½ cups Walnuts, Ground
  • 1 Tablespoon Margarine, Melted
  • 6 Tablespoons Sweetener
  • 1 whole Medium-sized Orange, Juiced
  • 2 ounces, weight (1 Oz. Per Square) Semi-sweet Baking Chocolate, Grated

Preparation

Juice the orange. Grate the chocolate.

Cut up the bananas in chunks and mash them well with a fork.

Place the mashed bananas in a mixing bowl; add the ground crackers, the walnuts, the margarine, the sweetener, and the orange juice; mix it well.

Pinch off lime-sized pieces of dough with your thumb and index finger to make a dough ball with your hands.

Dirty up the dough ball with the grated chocolate and place it inside of a decorative baking cup.

Put the banana spheres in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving.

*If allergic to nuts, please omit the walnuts.

Ha! SPHERES? Ha ha! I love truffles but always shy away from making them, because, you know, no self control. But these look relatively healthy, and I like all the ingredients. I’ll give them a bash! Thanks.
