Description

A healthier way to enjoy banana pudding/ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Banana, Peeled And Frozen Overnight
  • 3 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Nutella
  • 3 Tablespoons Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 dash Cinnamon

Preparation

First, freeze a banana overnight, but make sure you peel it first. I found out the hard way that you can’t peel a frozen banana.

Cut the frozen banana into coins, then put them in the food processor. After the banana starts to get creamy, add the milk, Nutella, oats and cinnamon. Vanilla extract might have been nice, too. Anyways, process the mixture until everything is incorporated, then scoop into a bowl and enjoy!

I did something similar but I didn’t use any milk – the bananas alone came out with an ice cream texture and tasted great. I also added peanut butter to a batch. And I bet chocolate, vanilla, and or cinnamon would be good too.

i tried it with peanut butter yesterday and it’s also a great addition!

I’ve done this many times for the kids but I used only frozen bananas and milk. The Nutella and oatmeal sound like great additions, can’t wait to try it!
