Description

Light, fluffy and perfectly sweet Bailey’s Irish Cream Whipped Frosting. Perfect on a Chocolate Stout cupcake or basic chocolate.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Unsalted Butter, Softened
  • ½ cups Crisco Shortening
  • 3-½ cups Powdered Sugar, Sifted
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Bailey's Irish Cream
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Whipping Cream

Preparation

In a large bowl or mixer, beat butter and shortening together until smooth. Gradually add in sifted powdered sugar, one cup at a time mixing throughly between additions.

When combined add in salt, vanilla, and Bailey’s Irish Cream. Lastly, beat in 1 1/2 tablespoon whipping cream and whip until combined, light and fluffy.

If the frosting is too thick, add 1/2 teaspoon of additional Bailey’s at a time until desired consistency is reached.

If the frosting is too thin, add in additional powdered sugar and mix throughly.
