Description

Baci (in Italian it means “kiss”) is a famous Italian chocolate brand. I love their chocolate balls but unfortunately they are not sold here in China. Good thing my mom has this recipe which reproduce them quite well! Your kids (and not just the kids) will love them!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Hazelnuts
  • ½ cups Nutella
  • ½ cups Chocolate Wafer
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate

Preparation

Place hazelnuts in a mixer and mince them.

In a bowl, place Nutella, minced hazelnuts and with your hands slowly crumble in the wafer. Using a tablespoon, mix all the ingredients together.

Get your hands slightly wet and form small balls of the mixture. (Having some water on your hands will prevent the mixture from sticking to you.)

In a double saucepan, melt the dark chocolate. Dump in your sweet balls and cover ‘em up. Place them on a plate and let the chocolate dry. Serve!

I love Baci chocolates too! Unfortunately, they only seem to be available here around Christmas time. I will be giving this a try! By chocolate wafer, do you mean chocolate wafer like the cookies, or like the melting wafers? Or something totally different?
