Description

Apple pie served like pizza with a cream cheese frosting on top.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Frozen Pie Crusts
  • 6 whole Peeled Apples
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Oats
  • ¼ cups Butter
  • 2 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • ¼ cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a cooking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

Roll pie crust out onto a cookie sheet, and set aside.

Peel, core and slice apples into bite size pieces. Add the sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and flour to the apples until evenly coated.

In a separate medium bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar and oats. Cut in butter until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle mixture evenly over the apples.

Bake 20-25 minutes, until crust looks golden brown.

While pizza is cooking, make the icing. Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar and milk. Whisk until there are no more clumps.

Once the pizza has finished baking, remove from the oven and drizzle with the icing. Slice and serve!

Maybe I’m confused, but do you put the apples on the crust & then sprinkle with topping, or do you sprinkle the topping on the apples, & then put them on the crust? Whichever way it works, this looks really yummy! I’m thinking it would be great with any kind of pie filling, as well — peaches, especially!
