Quick and easy to make! I always get asked for the recipe for these.
Peel, core and quarter apples. Wrap each piece of apple in a one crescent roll, making sure it is completely sealed. Place in a 13×9 baking pan that has been sprayed with Pam. Bring other ingredients to a boil for 2-3 minutes. Pour over apples. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes. While baking, spoon the juice mixture over the dumplings every 15 minutes.
These are wonderful served right out of the oven with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!

I have made these many times and everyone loves them.
The only difference is, I add 1 teaspoon of vanilla after I take the heated ingredients from stove and sprinkle finely chopped pecans over the top. One more thing is I bake mine in an 8×8 square pyrex dish.
