Description

These are a delicious rendition of the favorite candy bar—only bigger and gooier. Feel free to go back for seconds!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces, weight Semi-sweet Chocolate, Divided
  • ¾ cups Butter
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract (more If You Want)
  • 1 cup Self-Rising Flour
  • 1 cup Shaved Almonds
  • 1 package (7 Oz. Package) Sweetened Coconut Flakes
  • ½ cups Sweetened, Condensed Milk
  • ½ cups Heavy Whipping Cream (generous)

Preparation

Microwave 4 squares (4 oz. total) unsweetened chocolate and butter in a large microwaveable bowl until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla, beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Beat in flour. Stir in almonds. Spread into a greased 9×3 pan (air-bake pans work best!).

Bake at 350F for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out just a bit gooey. Cool completely before topping with remaining ingredients.

Mix coconut and condensed milk until well blended. Spread over top of brownies; set aside. Heat cream in small saucepan on low heat until simmering. Add remaining 8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, and stir with a fork until completely melted. Spread evenly over coconut layer, then cover and refrigerate until chocolate layer has hardened.

Enjoy!
