Description

Soft, warm and perfectly yummy. Make these cookies when you need a cozy cookie.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 Oz. Package) Cream Cheese, Room Temperature
  • ½ cups Butter, Room Temperature
  • 1 whole Egg, Room Temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1 package (18.25 Oz. Package) Yellow Boxed Cake Mix
  • ½ cups Powdered Sugar

Preparation

In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Beat in the egg. Then beat in the almond extract. Beat in the cake mix.

Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours to firm up dough so that it can be rolled into powdered sugar.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Roll the chilled batter into 1-inch sized balls and then roll them in powdered sugar. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake 12 minutes. The cookies will remain soft and gooey.

Cool completely and sprinkle with more confectioners’ sugar, if desired.

They are so yummy and deceptively easy to make. When my bestie first made them for me, I was convinced she spent hours on them. She’s a trickster! They’re a staple for us now.

Please let me know how they turn out for you!! Thanks lovelies :) ~Megan
