Description

A decadent, addicting, rich, awesome, sinful, chocolate topping.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cups Milk (whole Is Best)
  • 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Karo Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

Bring all of the ingredients (except the vanilla) to a boil, let it boil for 3 minutes, take off heat and add vanilla.

Drizzle on top of ice cream, cake, or just a take straw and start indulging in some of the best chocolate syrup ever!

Yum, this sounds wonderful. Wish I’d seen it last night when I was dying for vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup…

When I ran out of the bottled stuff I decided to make this to replace it. We rarely use syrup, mainly for chocolate milk. This was not what I hoped for. I under cooked it because it seemed to get too thick too quick. It doesn’t dissolve good in cold milk. It was sugary but not chocolatey. Maybe good over ice cream but not the best for drinking.
